Lonestar Stout is a series of music shows to be presented to audiences throughout the region in 2008 by veteran Celtic and Folk/Bluegrass Music performers, Jed Marum and Mason Brown - along with variety guest performers. The series is produced by Jed Marum and sponsored by the Southwest Celtic Music Association.

The show is a mix of Appalachian rhythms, Irish melodies and Tall Texas Tales - original and traditional. Jed Marum - guitars, vocals, banjo, banjola, harmonica. Jed Marum albums play regularly on Folk/Bluegrass and Celtic radio programs around the world. Mason Brown - guitar, vocals, banjo, and viola da gamba. Mason Brown's voice, guitar, banjo, and viola da gamba can be heard regularly in the Kansas City area and frequently elsewhere around the US. Hugh Morrison - button accordion. Originally from the Highlands of Scotland Hugh is currently living in Katy, Texas. Hugh Morrison is a solo performer of Scottish Traditional dance and listening music and he is the driving force behind the very popular Celtic Rock Band, MURDER THE STOUT.
